Whole Mouth Health Care...the close relationship between your mouth and your overall health ... is at the core of everything we do! Why should you choose us?

From my years as a hygienist I learned firsthand the importance of keeping the mouth clean and the tissues healthy. In dental school I learned the physiology and bio-mechanics of the the mouth, teeth and surrounding area. But my time in New York City taught me the value of an attractive mouth and the confidence that brings. I try and create a balance in my patients' mouths, keeping them healthy and attractive. It is this twofold approach where I find my skill and talent lies.

In my office we place a strong emphasis on hygiene and home care, cancer screening, proper occlusion and treating tooth decay, wear and damage. But prevention, detection and treatment of dental health problems needs to be tempered with an artist's eye to ensure that the finished product is pleasing and attractive as well as healthy.

We offer a wide variety of services, from routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices. We are equipped to handle most of your dental needs. To help you understand your options, we've included descriptions of some of our leading services on this page.

Periodontal Disease

Research over the last few years is beginning to reflect the relationship between the health of your mouth and your overall health. Periodontal disease is an inflammatory disease involving bacteria and the immune system. Diseased tissues are able to trigger inflammation in other parts of the body, with a significant association to osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and respiratory and pregnancy problems. Periodontal disease also provides entry for harmful bacteria to enter the bloodstream and migrate to other parts of the body causing illiness. Periodontal disease cannot only be treated with anti-inflammatories and anti-biotics, but must incorporate continuing mechanical treatment and care to arrest oral infection, reduce the inflammatory response and close the doorway on bacteria.
